Annual Vegan Cookie Swap & Potluck, 2024
This December, PEA Pod will be hosting the annual vegan cookie swap following a potluck. Come for either event or both! Bloomington's annual vegan cookie swap dates back at least seven years when it was hosted in a living room and has now grown to one the largest annual vegan events in town.
When
Sunday, December 15th
- Potluck starts at 1:30 pm
- Cookie swap starts at 2:45 pm
What to Bring
- For the potluck: A vegan dish to share with appropriate serving utensils
- Cookie Swap: 2 dozen vegan cookies and an extra container so you can collect other cookies. Brownies, doughnuts and shareable vegan treats are welcome.
- Plate and utensils for yourself
- Beverage for yourself
- A label with food ingredients is helpful.
How the Cookie Swap Works
You bring 2 dozen cookies. Everyone else participating also brings 2 dozen cookies. Everything is placed on a table and we walk around in a circle, collecting the same amount of cookies that you brought. So, you leave with a variety, but only had to make one kind! Please remember to bring an extra container so you have a way to collect your new cookies.
Where
The event will be in the fellowship hall at First United Church, 2420 E. 3rd Street, Bloomington, IN.
